Farmingdale 2018 goalie McKenzie Gaghan has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division II lacrosse at East Stroudsburg University.

Why did you choose ESU? “I am so excited to be future student athlete and member of the ESU Women’s Lacrosse team under Head Coach Xeni Barakos. ESU is the perfect fit for me academically, athletically, and PSAC is a distinguished conference not too far from home.”

HS team’s outlook for 2018 season? “The 2018 season means hard work, team bonding, living-up to the tradition set before us and getting back to the Class A NYS Championship bus ride to Cortland in June.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank both of my parents for believing in me on and off the lacrosse fields. My brother Brendan who played at LIU and my sister Shannon who is on the Monmouth Women’s Lacrosse team. My rock and inspiration my sister Kaitlin, who played at Women’s Lacrosse at LIU and currently is the assistant coach at Pace University. You raised the bar for all of us to follow!
