Riverhead High School 2019 midfielder-attackman Connor Kalmus has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at St. John’s University.

Lacrosse Honors: 2x select for Suffolk in the Nassau Suffolk Showcase, 2x Brine All-American, All-Star at Fab Frosh, Most Improved Player on Varsity as a freshman.

Academic Honors: Principal Honor roll

Expected Major: Business/Sports Management

Why did you choose SJU? “I chose St. John’s because of the great academics, the beautiful campus and atmosphere, the location, and to compete in lacrosse at the highest level.”

HS team’s outlook for 2018 season? “For the 2018 season my team and I are ready to do something special, we have been making some noise the past couple seasons but we’re ready to leave a big mark this year.”
