Lynbrook 2017 attack Molly Carter has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Syracuse University.

College Choice: Syracuse University (committed in September, 2014)

Lacrosse Honors: UnderArmor 2017 uncommitted team, Yellow Jacket Blue team

Academic Honors: Honor Roll, Honor Society

What will you major in/study? Business.

Why did you choose the school? “The excellent education and the best coaching staff in the country made Syracuse the best school for me. Also the brand new state of the art lacrosse facility is one of the best in the country, providing me with the opportunity to succeed on and off the field.”

Outlook for HS season? “The Lynbrook girls lacrosse team is really coming together. I think we could win the conference this season and make some noise in the playoffs.”

Thank You: “I would first like to thank my family, for everything they they have done for me. I could not thank them enough. I would also like to thank my coaches from the Yellow Jackets organization, Al Bertolone and Carol Rose, who have pushed me to keep improving every time I touch my stick and taught me to play at a high level. Lastly, my High School Coach, Vinny Tetro, who has believed in me since the 5th grade and has given me multiple chances to succeed.”
