St. Anthony’s 2015 attackman Stephen DeSimone has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Franklin & Marshall College.

Club Affiliation: Long Island Express

Lacrosse Honors: National 175, Top 205 and the Adrenaline Platinum Cup

Academic honors, service projects: National Honor Society, Duns Scotus Academic Society, Class President, Co-Founder of Challenger Lacrosse (non profit organization that helps teach special needs kids how to play lacrosse)

What will you major in/study? Government and Politics

Why did you choose F & M? “The school has an outstanding academic reputation. The coaches are committed to a winning program and I think we can compete for a national championship.”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? “We have a lot of depth on the team this year from our seniors down to our juniors. Our coaches are pushing us to be the best we can. We are hoping we can bring back the CHSAA championship back to South Huntington.”
