Wantagh High School 2017 midfielder Megan Gordon has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Northwestern University.

Academic Honors: National Honor Society, High Honor Roll/AP scholar
What will you major in/study? Marketing and Communications
Why did you choose Northwestern? “I chose Northwestern because it had everything I wanted academically and athletically. The academics are unbeatable and the lacrosse program with coaches, Kelly Amonte Hiller, Danielle Spencer, and Tim McCormack are amazing. It is incredible how much they care about their players, love the game and make you feel part of the family.”
HS team’s outlook for 2015 HS season? “We have an awesome team coming back this year and our goal is a county title.”
