Bethpage High School 2016 attackman Joe Tierney has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Marist College.

What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose Marist? “I picked Marist because it’s a great community with great players and coaches. In my heart I know it is a place where I want to be.”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? “The Team is looking solid with lots of returning players. Our goal is to make it back to the Semi-Finals again and keep striving for a County Title.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank all my coaches for what they have done to get me to this spot. Also, my mom and dad were a big part in the whole recruiting process, and without them I wouldn’t have this chance, so I would like to thank them.”
