Sachem East High School 2016 goalie Michael Bollinger has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Stony Brook University.

Club Affiliations: Sachem East Lacrosse Club and Team Long Island

Lacrosse Honors: All-Division, Super Sophs All-Star game, Philly Showcase All-Star game, First Look, Blue Chip and First round of Nassau/Suffolk Team

What will you major in/study? Forensic Science

Why did you choose Stony Brook? “From the minute I walked on campus and met Coach (Jim) Nagle and the coaching staff I knew it was the right place for me. I know I will get a great education as well as a great athletic experience.”

Thoughts on this past season/outlook for next season? “Sachem East had a good season last year, we made it to the first round of play-offs. Next season we will be very competitive with many starters coming back.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank my parents for all they do for me and for always supporting me. All my coaches through the years and present for always believing in me as a player. A big thank you to Coach O’Connell for supporting me through this process and the endless talks.”
