Northport 2017 face-off specialist/midfielder Connor Cronin has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Michigan.

Why did you choose the school? “I loved the campus and all of the coaches are great. Also, Michigan’s top academics made it an easy decision for me.”

Thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season?
“We lost many great seniors, but I know we will definitely find a way to work it out with all of the talent on our team.”

Other comments: “I definitely have to thank my family first off. Next, I’d like to thank my face off coach, Matt Schomburg, because without him I really do not think I’d be close to the same player that I am today. And also, I’d like to thank Coach Searing (Northport) and Coach Mule (Team 91) for their support and guidance.”
