Massapequa High School sophomore LSM-defenseman James DeTommaso has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the United States Air Force Academy and begin the admissions process.

Major lacrosse honors: 2013 Top 205 All-Star Team, Semi Finalist Nassau County Showcase 2013, 2013 Hofstra Blue and Gold All-Star Team

What will you major in/study? Engineering/Science

Why did you choose Air Force? “This school was an excellent match to my academic interests, my Military aspirations and my desire to play Division 1 lacrosse.”

Outlook for your High School team? “The team had an excellent season last year winning the County championship. We are very talented this year and expect to be contenders for the title.”
