What will you major in/study? Undecided-Marketing/Advertising

Why did you choose Duke? “Duke has it all for me. I wanted a school with incredible academics as well as athletics. I felt a connection with Coach (Kerstin) Kimel, her staff, and the girls on the team right away. Everyone was extremely passionate about Duke and all that the University has to offer. Everything I have heard about Duke is amazing and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.”

What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for the upcoming season? “Last year we felt we had a great season, but were disappointed when we came up short in the Long Island Championship. This year, we have 9 seniors who are committed to Division 1 colleges for lacrosse, resulting in many threats and options all over the field. We aspire to be in the County Championship game, just as I have been in every year since my 8th grade season, and hopefully continue our journey all the way to The NY State Championship game.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank Coach Carol Rose, Tracy Weiner, and Becky Thorn for aiding me in my recruiting process, and for being amazing leaders and role models that guided me to where I am today.”

Other schools considered: UNC, Notre Dame, Syracuse
