Girls’ recruit: Holy Trinity 2014 attack Finnen signs with St. Thomas Aquinas

Holy Trinity senior attack Caroline Finnen has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division II lacrosse at St. Thomas Aquinas College.

Major lacrosse honors: Newsday’s Athlete of the week for scoring 9 goals, MVP offender in 2011, 2013 All American uncommitted games

Why did you choose school: “I chose this school because I felt it was the best fit for me. As soon as I stepped on campus I new it was the one. I love the coach and players and I am looking forward to playing with them in the future.”

Outlook for your high school team: “My high school’s outlook for next year is to come together and play as a team. We struggle at times through the season, but when we all work together the result comes out good. I think this season coming up is going to be a great one for us.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank not only my lacrosse coach but especially my parents for always being there for me and taking me to every single lacrosse tournament I had. I would also like to thank my sister for believing in me and helping me through this process. My friends also helped me stay positive in my decision making and I am very thankful to have them.”
