Major lacrosse honors, camps and showcases: Top 205 All Star, Hot Beds All Star, Rising Sophomore Suffolk Showcase Team, Under Armour L.I. Top 100 Game

What will you major in/study: Engineering/Architecture

Why did you choose school:
“Syracuse has a lot to offer both academically and through its athletic programs. It has a great lacrosse tradition and a strong commitment to the program. Ever since I was a kid, Syracuse has always been my dream. When my cousin Rob Welsh committed as a football player, my passion to play lacrosse there only grew.”

Outlook for your high school team in 2014: “Coming off a loss from Ward Melville in the county championship last season, we will come back with fire. Our seniors will be the ones to carry the team this year. With an outstanding defense of Logan Greco, Kyle Mathie, JJ Foley and in net, Matt Smidt; and with our offense of Ryan Keenan, Christian Zawadski, Sean Adler, Matt Heldberg, Alex DiSalvo, and Ej Suris, we have a great squad this year.”

Other comments: “First, I would like to thank Coach Moltisanti for supporting me. I would also like to thank my face-off trainer, Matt Schomburg, for teaching me everything I know about facing off and to my brother, Joseph, who has always worked with me, gave me advice and helped me to improve. And lastly, I would like to thank my Dad for all his support and always motivating me.”

Other Schools Considered: Ohio State, Michigan and UNC
