Girls’ recruit: Clarke 2014 defender Morano commits to Indiana University of Pennsylvania

Clarke rising senior defender Natalie Morano has made a commitment to play Division II lacrosse at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

College Choice: Indiana University of Pennsylvania

Club Affiliation: TOGZ

Major lacrosse honors: All-Conference 2013, First Team All-Academic 2013

What will you major in/study? Pre-Vet

Why did you choose IUP? “I really like the school. It is the right size. The dorms and other facilities are new and really nice. I love the coach and the team is really competitive.”

Outlook for your High School team next season? “We are looking to improve on our success from last year, when we made the playoffs for the first time in 10 years. We have a core of solid travel team girls as well as some great all around athletes!”

Additional Comments: “I want to thank my Dad for having the confidence in me to pursue College lacrosse. I also want to thank my travel coaches, Ralph Votta and Bob Schmitt, who gave me the chance to play travel lacrosse. And I would like to thank Coach Aragona at Clarke for supporting my goal of playing college lax. Finally, I want to thank all my teammates, I will miss you!”
