Why did you choose Navy? “The Naval Academy is one of the best institutions in the world for an education. I will be able to give back and serve my country and Navy lacrosse has such a long tradition…over 100 years!”

Outlook for your High School team next season? “We lost a bunch of really good seniors but Huntington has always been known for their athleticism. We made it to the Class B finals last season so that will be our goal in 2014.”

Other comments: “I want to thank all my coaches. Huntington Head Coach Paul McDermott who really gave me confidence. Also Outlaws Coach Justin Arini who really helped and mentored me.

“I really want to thank my parents who have always stood by me and supported me and lastly my brother Brandon who always has my back . He will be commissioned as a Naval Officer in a couple of years.

“Coaches (Rick) Sowell, (Ryan) Wellner and (J.L.) Reppert are some of the best coaches at the D1 level and I feel they can get Navy back to a national title. They were absolutely great during the recruiting process.”
