Hewlett (N.Y.) rising senior midfielder-attackman Jimmy Anderson has made a verbal commitment to play Division II lacrosse at Dominican College.

What will you major in/study: Criminal Justice
Why did you choose school: “I picked Dominican College because they gave me the best possible package out there. I looked for schools that would make me feel right at home, and Dominican College fell right into place.”
Outlook for your high school team: “Next year our outlook seems to be looking pretty well. Kevin Fuchs (committed to Cornell) and I along with a couple of other seniors will try to get the team to the Nassau County Class B championships.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank my family and friends for helping me through out the whole recruiting process. Also would like to thank my head coach, Adam Hopkins, and my assistant coach who is also my uncle, Kevin Anderson, for making this possible. Thanks to my mom, who was a huge factor in my college choice. I also thank the Cavallo family, the Baruch family, the Kohan family, the Bravo family, and the Tansey family for always being there for me.”
