Bellmore-JFK senior close defender Brandon Klein has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Vassar College.

Major lacrosse honors: Academic All-Conference 2012, Blue Chip All-Star

What will you major in/study? Economics and Physics

Why did you choose Vassar? “As one of the leading academic institutions in the nation, Vassar represents everything I have been working for academically. Vassar is in a transition year and I hope to support Coach (Marc) Graham as he makes Vassar more of a scholar-athlete destination for men’s lacrosse.”

Outlook for your High School team? “We have seven committed seniors returning to a very strong squad. We will be very competitive.”

Additional comments: “I would like to thank Coach Papach for the support he has given me over the years. As well as my school and travel teammates who have helped me get better everyday. My parents have been a constant support and I wouldn’t be here but for them.”
