St. Anthony’s junior midfield-attack Haley Roberts has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at High Point University.

Major lacrosse honors: Brine All-America Long Island Team, Varsity Catholic Championship

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose High Point? “I chose High Point because when I first stepped on campus I knew it was the place for me. The academics and athletics were a perfect fit for me. The coaches and players could not be more welcoming. High Point has so many goals and I cant wait to be a part of a great up and coming D1 lacrosse program.”

Outlook for your High School team? “My high school team has big expectations this year. Loosing 16 seniors is tough, but we have strong enough players to fill their shoes. We are looking to maintain our title as Catholic League Champs and continue to be one of the best teams in the country.”

Additional Comments: “I want to thank my family for being there since the start of my recruiting process. They have been nothing but supportive and I can’t thank them enough.
