National Letter of Intent signing: Six from Mt. Sinai girls’ team make college choices

Six members of the Mt. Sinai girls’ lacrosse team made their college intentions final during a recent signing ceremony.

The players included:

Mt. Sinai’s seniors signed or committed to play college lacrosse – from left, Jenna Van Middelem (Catholic), Marissa Colacino (Stony Brook), Jennifer O’Reilly (Furman), coach Al Bertolone, Danielle Dellarocca (Jacksonville) and Caroline Fitzgerald (Florida)

Caroline Fitzgerald, two time All-American midfielder signed her letter of intent to play lacrosse for the University of Florida.

Danielle Dellarocca
, a 2012 All-County and Schoolgirl National team attack, signed with Jacksonville.

Jennifer O’Reilly, defense, signed with Furman

Marissa Colacino
, a 2-time National Schoolgirl Tournament defender, signed with Stony Brook.

Jenna Van Middelem
, attack, committed to Catholic

Amanda Pirone
, defender, signed with Lock Haven
