University of Florida Head Lacrosse Coach Amanda O’Leary is proud to announce the signing of 11 future Gators to National Letters of Intent. The Gators welcome Amy Arnold (Topsfield, Md.), Haley Bordner (Sykesville, Md.), Taylor Bresnahan (Edgewater, Md.), Sammi Burgess (Forest Hill, Md.), Hannah Burnett (Huntington, N.Y.), Caroline Fitzgerald (Mt. Sinai, N.Y.), Hope Kissick (Cohasset, Ma.), Carli Marsh (Parkland, Fla.), Chloe O’Haire (Vero Beach, Fla.), Alex Puller (Severna Park, Md.) and Mollie Stevens (Centerville, Md.) will all be a part of the 2018 Florida lacrosse signing class.
“We are very excited to welcome these 11 young ladies to the Gator Lacrosse program today,” Head coach Amanda O’Leary said. “We faced the task of replacing a very talented senior class and we believe this class is up to that challenge. This is a group which is ready to build upon the traditions already set at Florida.”

Hannah Burnett is an attack from Huntington High School in Huntington, N.Y. where she played four years and earned all-county honors her sophomore and junior season. She was among the top 20 in points scorers on Long Island. Burnett also played for the Long Island Yellow Jackets 2013 Blue team for seven years with head coach Danielle Skakandi. The Yellow Jackets won the Galaxy National (2009-10), Lax for the Cure (2010 & 2012), Northern Rise (2011) and the U15 ESPN Rise National tournaments.
Burnett also participated in varsity soccer and varsity basketball at Huntington. She was a four-year soccer letterwinner and was an all-county selection in her junior and senior seasons in addition to being the team captain for both years. She is also an AP Scholar, a member of the National Honor Society and received the President’s education award of outstanding academic excellence. In addition, Burnett received the DAR good citizenship award, math and science academic achievement award, outstanding achievement in science award and was on the honor roll all four years.

Mt. Sinai High School
LI Yellow Jackets Blue 2013
Caroline Fitzgerald is a five-year midfielder at Mt. Sinai High School where she was a two-time All-American (2011, 2012). Fitzgerald helped Mt. Sinai to a county championship, a Long Island Championship and New York state finalist in 2011. She is a five-time All-Suffox County selection and MVP in 2012. She was named to the Under Armour Underclassmen Long Island selection (2010-12) and to the Under Armour Upperclassmen All-Tournament team in 2012. In addition, she was a National School Girls Team 1 pick and also participated in the All-American Champion Challenge Showcase helping Mt. Sinai claim the tournament championship.
Fitzgerald also played seven years for the Long Island Yellow Jackets under head coach Carol Rose. She also participated in cross country and winter track during her high school career.
Mansconomet Regional High School
Amy Arnold is four-year starter for Masconomet, leading them to a DI Massachusetts state quarterfinals and the Cape Ann League Championship in 2010 and 2012. She was a Cape Ann League all-league selection (2011-12), Salem News All-Star (2011-12), EMGLCA All-League (2012) and Lower New England National Team member (2011-12). Arnold also earned a place on the Under Armour New England team and was also the Boston Cannons/Muscle Milk Player of the Week in 2012. She is also a three-time Boston Globe Player of the Week earning it once a season from 2010-12.
Arnold played for Revolution Lacrosse for five years under Coach Lukas Cash. During her time with the team, they won the New England Chill Tournament and were runner-up at the New England Rise 2012. At Mansconomet, Arnold also participated in cross country and was on the honor roll. She participated in various extracurricular activities including Global Initiative Volunteers Club and Haven for Hunger food pantry.
Century High School
M&D 2013 Black
Haley Bordner is a four-year midfielder from Century High School, leading them to state championships as a freshman and junior and state finalist as a sophomore. She was a first-team all-county and all-conference as a junior and second team all-county and all-conference as a sophomore. Bordner has played attack for the M&D 2013 Black club team for six years under coaches Brooke and Tommy Kuhl-McClelland. She helped lead them to National Draw Champions (2009-11), Maryland Club Championships Champions (2011), Capitol Cup Champions (2011-12), President’s Cup Champions (2011) and Champions Cup Champions (2012). Bordner also represented Baltimore Metro in the women’s division national tournament.
Bordner also participated in volleyball and basketball, where she was a second team all-conference and all county selection in both sports. She was also active in various student activities including the student government association, National Honor Society and Varsity Club.
South River High School
MD United East 2013
Taylor Bresnahan is an All-American from South River High School where she was also four-year varsity starter and two-time all-county coaches’ selection. She helped South River to a state championship in 2010 and a county championship in 2011. She also earned first-team all-county capitals pick and second-team all-county honors. Bresnahahn was part of the Under Armour All-America team in Washington, D.C. in 2010. In addition, she played three years on the MD United 2013 East team under head coach Karen Pipkin.
Bresnahan also played basketball and field hockey where she earned first-team all-county honors as a sophomore and junior while also selected to the second-team all-county capital team.
Forest Hill, Md.
Skywalkers 2013 Blue
Sammi Burgess is an attack from McDonogh School where she played four years, leading them to IAAM Championships from 2010-12. Burgess is a three-year starter and was named an ESPN Top 50 Rising Young Gun in 2011 and 2012. In addition, Burgess was named to the Baltimore Sun Second Team All-Metro in 2011 & 2012 and the Baltimore Under Armour Underclass team from 2010-12. She was also named a team captain for McDonogh for the upcoming 2013 season.
Burgess has played with the Skywalkers 2013 Blue club team for six years under head coach Michael MacLaughlin, winning the Charm City Championship in 2010. Burgess was also involved in dance, volunteered as a Ronald McDonald House camp counselor in 2012 and the McDonogh School orange key tour. In addition, Burgess was also on the honor roll every trimester during her high school career.
Cohasset High School
Hope Kissick played five seasons at midfield at Cohasset High School where she was named to the Lower New England All-Star Team in 2012 and a South Shore League All-Start team from 2010-12. She was also a Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic team pick (2011, 2012) and was named a team captain.
Kissick was also part of the swim team at Cohasset, where she was a state champion in 2011 and finished second in 2012. She was also a Boston Globe All-Scholastic honoree in 2011 and Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic pick from 2011-12. She is a high honors student at Cohasset and is a part of the St. Anthony’s Youth Ministry.
Carli Marsh is a four-time first-team all-district and four-time first-team all-league selection from Pine Crest High School in Ft. Lauderdale. Marsh was also selected as the Rookie of the Year and played in the Under Armour Underclassmen Tournament on the Elite South Girls team. She helped Stoneman Douglas High School back-to-back undefeated seasons and earned two state championships (2010, 2011). As a sophomore, Marsh led the team in goals (91) and assists (22). She also had one of the best performances in the nation last year, scoring 13 goals against Taravella (Fla.) on Mar. 20, 2012. She transferred to Pine Crest last year.
Marsh was also a first-team Sun Sentinel and first-team Miami Herald selection in 2012. She was named one of ESPN’s Top 100 lacrosse juniors in 2012 also competed as a member of the South Florida National team where they competed in the WDNT tournaments from 2010-12.
Vero Beach, Fla.
Chloe O’Haire helped Vero Beach High School to district runner up finishes in 2009, 2010 and 2012. She was a member of the South Florida National team from 2010-11 and was an all-area first-team honoree in 2012. She is a two-time second team all-league selection (2010-11), two-time second team midfielder (2009, 2011) and earned first-team midfield honors in 2010.
O’Haire played club lacrosse with the LaxManiax (Black) for five years under head coach Sarah Burlingame. She helped LaxManiax to Heatwave Champions and a second place finish in the Southern Alliance Tournament in 2012. LaxManiax were also Wishbone Championship and O’Haire was named the TFG player for four years. Outside of lacrosse, O’Haire also participated in swimming and weightlifting. She is a member of the National Honor Society and student council. She was named a member of the Honors Council and named to the Honor Roll, Deans List and Head of School lists. She earned the Excellence in History award in 2012 and was an AP Scholar.
Severna Park, Md.
Alex Puller started all four years at attack for Archbishop Spalding High School. She played on the DC Metro 1 team at the School Girl Tournament in 2011. She also played club lacrosse for Maryland United Lacrosse Club East, helping the team win the Top of the Bay tournament.
Puller also participated in field hockey and basketball at Archbishop Spalding. She helped lead the basketball team to a IAAM championship in 2011. She also participated in extra curricular activities including the Adaptive Lacrosse games where she helped disabled students play lacrosse.
Queen Anne School
Mollie Stevens is a four-year varsity starter at Queen Anne School under head coach Penelope Santos-Bates and has led the team in goals, assists, and draw controls for the last three seasons She helped Queen Anne to regional championships from 2010-12 and were Maryland state finalist in 2010 and 2011 while making the 3A state finals in 2012. She was named the All Mid-Shore Co-Player of the Year in 2012 and was ranked No. 12 in the ESPN Rise top juniors. She is a two-time first-team all-conference selection (2010,11) and a two-time Under Armour All-American DC Team (2011,12).
Stevens was a member of the FBL A and National Honor Society at Queen Anne School and also participated in varsity soccer, field hockey and swimming. She was a 2009 second-team all-conference selection in soccer, 2011 first-team all-conference in field hockey and qualified for state in swimming in 2010 and 2011.
