Boys’ recruit: St. Anthony’s junior LSM DeLuca commits to Marist

St. Anthony’s junior long stick midfielder Michael DeLuca has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Marist College.

What will you major in/study?

Why did you choose the school? “I chose Marist because I liked the campus, the lacrosse coaches, the players and the atmosphere.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “My HS team’s outlook for next year is to win another Catholic school championship.”

Other comments: “I’d like to thank Pat Brennan from the Long Island Outlaws who coached me for the past 7 years and saw my ability when he converted me from a midfielder to LSM. I would also like to thank my coaches, Paul Washington and Mike Chanenchuk, at St. Anthony’s High School. Most importantly thank my parents and sister for always being there for me.”
