What will you major in/study? Hospitality/Management

Why did you choose NYIT? “I chose NYIT because they had the curriculum I want to study. The program is unique and enables a hands on experience as well as a traditional college learning in the classroom.

“I wanted to be close to home and the proximity of the college to my home was ideal.

“I have always been impressed with the athletic program. I had always heard positive things about the lacrosse team, and their coaching staff. I had an opportunity to attend their camp this summer. The camp was an invaluable learning experience.

“I am looking forward to apply what I learned to finish out my high school career and when I play for NYIT.”

Outlook for your HS team next season? “The outlook for my high school team is to continue on playing together and maximizing our potential at each game. We hope to regain the catholic high school championship title that we won in 2010, and to prepare ourselves for the college level.”

Additional Comments: “The Saint Dominic High School Staff and especially Mr. Matthew O’Brien was crucial in the success we achieved as a team. Mr. O’Brien worked tirelessly to help me achieve my dream of playing Lacrosse on the college level along with Asst. Coach Kennedy and Coach Dupre, never letting me give anything less than 100% both on the field and in the classroom.

“The faculty as well has helped me tirelessly, from extra help after school down to submitting my application to NYIT. I have really grown close to all my teachers and it is truly going to be bitter sweet when I graduate.”
