Why did you choose Lenoir-Rhyne? “I chose Lenoir-Rhyne because Coach (Greg) Paradine is running a great new program and their style of play fits me well. I fell in love with the south and the surrounding community.

“I’ll also be playing with my older brother John who is a sophomore on the team now. I couldn’t let a great opportunity like that slip away.

“I bonded with the guys immediately and can’t wait to be a part of the team and compete with them.”

Outlook for your HS team next season? “After tearing my ACL for the second time at the start of last season I am eager to get back on the field with my teammates. We have a good group of seniors returning and also a bunch of scrappy younger players who are looking to make a difference. Our new head coach Jimmy Gillis is getting us pumped and ready to make a run this spring.”

Additional Comments: “I’d like to thank my parents for helping me make the decision and for everything they’ve done for me. Also all the coaches I’ve had through my lacrosse career helping me be the best player I can be. A special thanks to my physical therapist Dave Lippetz and also everyone else at Peak Performance for getting me back on the field as quick and strong as possible following my injuries.”
