Girls’ recruit: Sachem East junior goalie Larkin commits to Quinnipiac

Sachem East junior goalie Kyle Larkin has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Quinnipiac University.

Club Affiliation: Long Island Yellow Jackets

Major lacrosse honors: All-Division, National tournament team-team 2(LI Metro)

Academic Honors: National Honor Society, Honor Roll, Honors Spanish, Honors English

What will you major in/study? Communications and Marketing

Why did you choose Quinnipiac? “I chose Quinnipiac University because of their excellent academics, beautiful campus, and the University overall, is a perfect fit for me.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “Last season we ranked 6th overall in Suffolk County Division I and made it to the quarter finals. This season we want to get a top 3 rank and make it to Counties.”

Other schools considered: Sacred Heart, Colgate

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank Chris Trombetta, my Sachem Youth coach. He was the one who got me stated playing lacrosse. I would also like to thank my high school coaches, Coach Bourgal, and Coach Celebre as well as well as my Yellow Jacket Coach, Lisa Christiansen. I would also like to thank my parents for always supporting me.”
