Manhasset senior midfielder Bobby Young has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Furman University.

Why did you choose Furman? “I chose Furman mainly because of Head Coach Richie Meade. He is very well respected in the lacrosse world and considered a legend. It will be an honor to play for coach Meade. I also chose Furman because of the academic background. It’s an impressive University and I have the opportunity to receive a great education.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “Our team is looking to win nothing less than a State Championship this season. I believe we have the potential to be great. We have a lot of special players and it will be a great year.”
