Boys’ recruit: Comsewogue senior defenseman-LPM O’Donoghue commits to Sacred Heart

Comsewogue senior defenseman/LPM Ryan O’Donoghue has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Sacred Heart University.

Major lacrosse honors:
Long Island Lacrosse Showcase Rising Seniors Top 20 Team;
Long Island Lax Fest All-Star Team;
All-County and All-Division as a junior

What will you major in/study? Physical Therapy

Why did you choose Sacred Heart? “Sacred Heart is an amazing school, and has one of the top physical therapy programs in the country. Also Coach (Tom) Mariano and Coach (Mike) Gongas made me feel like I would fit perfectly into their lacrosse program.”

Outlook for your high school team next season? “Although losing a few starting seniors last year, we are hoping to win the Suffolk County Championship this upcoming season.”
