Bishop Timon Saint Jude junior attackman Connor Fields has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Albany.

Major lacrosse honors: Freshman year – Section 6 Class A First Team, Led Williamsville North with 48 goals and 10 assists.
Sophomore Year- 1st Team All Catholic Section 6, Second Team All Western New York, Led Bishop Timon with 88 Goals and also had 35 assists. NYSCHSAA Champs and North American Lacrosse Invitational Blue Division Champs.
Blue Chip All Star Team Elite Division

Academic honors: District Honor Roll 9th and 10th grade

What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose the school? “I had a great visit with the coaches and I really like the way they utilize their attack. I also like the opportunity that UAlbany offers me academically.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “To repeat as Catholic AA State Champions as well as be the top rated team in Western New York; hpefully a nationally top 20 ranking.”

Other schools considered? Brown, Michigan, Villanova, and Marist.
