Chaminade rising junior midfielder-face-off specialist Sam Bonafede has committed to the admissions process at Princeton University.

Lacrosse honors: No. 8 Ranked Rising Junior according to Inside Lacrosse
Intended major: Will look to study at the Woodrow Wilson School of International Studies.
Why did you choose Princeton? “I wanted to attend a school with a both a rich history of lacrosse and excellent academics. Princeton University, one of the most distinguished universities in the the world, with six national championships was my overwhelming choice. I enjoy History and International Studies. Princeton will optimize these opportunities while playing top 10 division 1 lacrosse.”
Outlook for 2013 HS season: “Our Chaminade High School team is filled with talent at every position. I look to contribute in any way I can for Coach Moran. As a team we look to win but at the same time play with respect and character. We play a tough tri-state schedule but we have high hopes and look to beat the Friars at the end of the year.”
Other schools considered: UPenn, Harvard, Notre Dame, Johns Hopkins and Dartmouth.
Other comments: “I’d like to thank my coaching staff at Chaminade, my club Coach Gene Isnardi and my PAL Coach Bob Sheets who got it all started for me.”
