What will you major in/study? To be decided
Why did you choose the school? “I really like the campus and the girls on the team. When I talked with Coach Waldvogel and Coach Laura, I knew Fairfield was a perfect fit for me. Having my older sister Kayla playing defense for the Stags makes it kind of special that I will get to play with her again. I considered a number of schools, you just know when you have found the right one. I will get to play with a number of girls I competed against on Long Island which will make it fun.”
Family connection: Her sister, Kayla, a rising sophomore and All-County pick at Bay Shore, is a defender at Fairfield.
What is your HS team’s outlook for 2013? “We have some unfinished business to tend to and we have already begun preparing. I hope things click in 2013 and we have the opportunity to compete for a State Title again. Its not easy getting off Long Island, we understand and respect that.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank Coach Allison Pfeffer and Coach John Pfeffer for helping me develop as a player and to understand the importance of academics as well as athletics. I would also like to thank my teammates on Bay Shore and the Yellow Jackets for making it so much fun to play. I would also like to thank my sister Kayla for always dragging me to the late night workouts.”
