Cold Spring Harbor (14-3) advances to the title game where it will play tomorrow’s Locust Valley-Friends winner next Tuesday.

“We had high expectations coming into this game,” said Doyle. “Our defense shut them down, everyone is healthy now and our goalie played great. We try to keep everyone under five goals and hopefully our offense will do their thing.”

“We are coming into the next game confident; we don’t know who we are going to play yet but we have our game plans for both teams. I think we will be able to show either team what we did against them last time.”

Cold Spring Harbor took a commanding 10-1 lead going into the halftime. Justin McBride added three goals.

“We are very athletic,” said Cold Spring Harbor head coach Dennis Bonn. “We can get up and down the field pretty well.

“We are playing with confidence, we are healthy finally and all those things add up. I’m not saying we can’t be beaten because we can, but I think we are going to be a tough team to beat.

“If we come out next Tuesday, whether it be against Friends or Locust Valley and play like we did today, they are going to have to play awful good to beat us.”

Nick Alverson had one goal and one assist for North Shore. Brian Goetz and Kevin McCormack both had one goal.

“I think these boys played great all season long,” said North Shore head coach Aaron Kozlowski. “They did everything we asked them to but they came up against a very good team today.”
