Th playoffs opened last week with no big upsets.

Manhasset (13-4) is continuing to peak at the right time with two big wins over Herricks and Hewlet. Garden City (12-5) is continuing to show it is still a team to beat by downing Mepham and Lynbrook. Farmingdale (15-1) and Massapequa (14-2) both had big wins in their quarterfinal play.

Suffolk County’s top teams haven’t started their play yet because they had first round byes. Expect them to be ready to go when they start playing this week.
