In the last week of games before the playoffs, the fifth week of the Long Island boys’ rankings at has several changes throughout the Top 10.

A strong second half showing has boosted three Suffolk County teams, West Islip, Smithtown West and Comsewogue past St. Anthony’s in the rankings.

Manhasset has dropped out of the top 10 and into Under Consideration based on the Indians’ loss to Garden City in the Woodstick Classic on May 5 and strong performances by other schools.

However, St. Anthony’s has an opportunity to regain a higher ranking as it hosts No. 2 Chaminade on Thursday. After a civil rivalry game against Manhasset, top ranked Garden City travels to a bitterer rival in Wantagh on Wednesday.
