No. 1 Garden City rebounded quickly from a 2-0 deficit and toppled national power Duxbury (MA), 10-5, Saturday in non-league boys’ lacrosse.

Liam Kennedy (three goals) scored two goals in 15 seconds to tie it and spark a 5-0 run as the Trojans improved to 9-0.

Devin Dwyer dished off five assists and scored once and Justin Guterding had a goal and two assists for Garden City.

Northport 12, Corning 10

Brian Cannon (four goals, two assists) scored with 1:20 left in the game to lift the Tigers to 6-2.

John Glancy (three goals) scored two goals in 45 seconds to tie the game at 10. Ryan Napolitano added two goals for Northport

Corning suffered its first loss and is 8-1.
