T.J. Delyra added four goals and adding one assist for the Maurauders (6-2), who were down, 8-3, late in the first half before going on an amazing 16-1 run.

“I’m happy with the result of this game,” said Bay Shore head coach Tim Cox. “It took us a little while to get on track but our guys are very confident at the offensive end. We know we can score goals and once we get going we are pretty good.”

Griffin Rock and Lucas Rock both added three goals each in this league victory. Aaron Lewis came in as goalie in the second half and had nine saves.

“We played good,” said Sheets. “We were down early and came back by playing hard, we are doing well this season so far and getting better every game.”

West Babylon (5-3) had the 8-3 lead at the 5:10 mark of the second quarter and Bay Shore fought back by scoring six goals in five minutes taking a 9-8 lead into halftime. The Marauders totally dominated the second half.

“We need to play 48 minutes like we played the first 20 minutes,” said West Babylon coach Hans Haugen.

Alex McDermot led West Babylon with four goals and Tyler Hartmann had eight saves.
