Pat Colleluori, the Director of Program and Product Development for the HEADstrong Foundation, will be the guest tonight when LILacrosseNews.com Editor Chris Goldberg co-hosts “Lax High” on the Lacrosse radio Network.
The show runs from 6:30 until approximately 7:15 p.m. and can be heard by going to BlogTalk Radio. Listeners also can call in to ask questions (dial 805-727-7011) as Goldberg and co-host Ty Xanders of Inside lacrosse talk about the upcoming events being run by the HEAdstrong Foundation.
The HEADstrong Foundation was created by Hofstra lacrosse player Nicholas “HEAD” Colleluori, who died of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma five years ago. The HEADstrong Foundation is run by Nick’s family and led by older brother Pat, President Cheryl Colleluori and younger brother Michael Colleluori, who followed Nick’s footsteps and became a standout at Hofstra. The HEADstrong Foundation’s mission is to raise awareness and funds for blood cancer treatment and research and development.
This year the HEADstrong Foundation will be running dozens of high school lacrosse events, several on Long Island. Pat Colleluori will speak to these events as well as fundraising events such as “Score for the Cure” and the Lime Light Gala, being held March 23 in Philadelphia.
