Men’s recruit: Cold Spring Harbor sophomore midfielder Walter commits to Notre Dame

Cold Spring Harbor sophomore midfielder Jordan Walter has committed to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Notre Dame.

Position: Midfield

College Choice: Notre Dame

Club Affiliation: For the Love of the Game

Major lacrosse Honors: Philly Showcase Gait All-Star team. Invited to Nike Blue Chip and Maverik showcase. Member of the Brine National Lacrosse Classic Long Island team.

What will you major in/study? “I would like to major in Economics.”

Why did you choose Notre Dame? “I chose Notre Dame because I loved all the players and the soaches that I met. I also loved how Notre Dame is one of the best schools in the country academically and their amazing alumni system.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “This year I think my high school team will do well. We have a lot of our offensive players returning from last year and we have a great starting goalie this year.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my parents, my summer league coach, Coach Mike Winkoff, and my school team coach Dennis Bonn.”
