Brittany Dipper tallied three saves in the first half to lead Maryland defensively.

The Terps were a perfect 9-for-9 in clears and held Delaware (0-1) to 7-for-13.

Freshman defender Shanna Brady (St. Anthony’s) started and contributed a groundball, caused turnover and a draw control. Fellow frosh Erin Collins (West Islip) added two draw controls.

Maryland had a total of nine of players tally goals. Kristy Black and Johnson picked up three assists apiece to help guide an attack that is averaging 20 goals per game through the first two contests of the season.
