What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Louisville? “I chose the University of Louisville because when I visited the campus I was completely blown away by the school spirit and athletic atmosphere. I visited some schools before Louisville, but I wasn’t completely sold on certain aspects of those schools. There was something about U of L that just clicked. I felt that it would definitely bring about my full potential for success as a student as well as an athlete.

Not only is their athletic atmosphere incredible, but U of L’s reputable academics was something that definitely played a major role in my decision. I think the Cardinals have major potential to win the Big East Conference because Kellie Young, Crysti Foote and Vicki Latino are coaches who all share a huge passion for the game of lacrosse as well as a passion to win. This is something that I’m definitely glad to be a part of.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “My high school team is a fairly new addition to our athletic program because Luhi is a small private school. I have been a part of this team since 8th grade and it’s definitely been a lot of hard work trying to teach and instruct the new players, while still excelling as a lacrosse player. But, other experienced players and I have been incorporating what we know into our program and we are gradually making bigger and bigger steps. This year though, we have many forces in the offensive end and we are aspiring to win a private school championship.”

Additional comments: “I want to thank my Mom. I wouldn’t be the person or athlete I am today without her support and guidance. I’d also like to thank all of my coaches from all of the sports teams that I have been a part of. They were all vital to my ability to achieve such an amazing feat.

I am also thankful for all of my family and friends who have stood behind me through this process as well as throughout my entire life. I am so thankful that I am able to have such an amazing opportunity like this, it’s been a lot of hard work in school and on the field, but it was definitely worth it.”
