Deerfield Academy (MA) post graduate defenseman Brian Pickup – who starred at Rye (N.Y.) and plays club lacrosse for the Long Island Sting – has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Princeton University.

Why did you choose school? “Princeton University is the model for what every student athlete is looking for. It offers the best academics possible as well as being one of the top lacrosse programs in the country.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “Our team is looking to represent and hold up Deerfield Academy’s lacrosse prestige by settling for nothing less then another perfect season of going undefeated.”
