Kyle Rowe log:

Kyle Rowe

High School: Madison High (VA)

Graduation Year: 2013

Position: FOGO

College Choice: Stony Brook University

Club Affiliation: Virginia Lacrosse Club

Major Lacrosse Honors: All-Star at Top 205, 1st place STX National Face-off Tournament

What will you major in/study? Pre-med

Why did you choose Stony Brook? “Coach (Jim) Nagle and Coach (Andrew) Watkins really made me feel like they wanted me to come to Stony Brook and I could easily picture myself playing for them. The players were also really nice on my visit and seemed like they have a great time while at school. The campus was great and the athletic facilities were also top notch. The school also puts a big emphasis on lacrosse and really wants to see the team succeed.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We return an awesome goalie and an offense that put up points even though most of us were just sophomores so we’re definitely expecting big things. Our goal is to win the district but we’re going to have to work hard to try and finally get past our rival Langley.”

Additional comments: “I’d like to thank Coach Hodge, Coach Lewandowski, my family and friends, and a special shout out to my brother Jack who taught me how to face off.”
