National Letter of Intent signings: Four Massapequa girls headed to Division I colleges

Four Massapequa girls finalized their commitments to play Division I lacrosse at a National Letter of Intent signing ceremony.

The girls:

The Massapequa signees are: Rory Sadoff (Univ. of Massachusetts at Amherst), Laura Waldron (Iona College), Kelsey O'Brien (US Naval Academy) and Madalyn Pimental (Univ. of Connecticut. Massapequa AD John Piropato is joined by MHS Principal Dr. Barbara Williams and the players' parents.

Rory Sadoff, midfield/defender – signed with the University of Massachusetts at Amherst

Laura Waldron, defender – signed with Iona College,

Kelsey O’Brien, attack – committed to United State Naval Academy

Madalyn Pimental, midfield- signed with the University of Connecticut.

The four girls helped Massapequa finish 12-5 and reach the Nassau County Class A title game last season.

Massapequa Athletic Director John Piropato along with MHS Principal Dr. Barbara Williams congratulated all the players with their parents.
