Westhampton Beach junior goalie Brian Corrigan has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Marist College.

Brian Corrigan log:

Brian Corrigan

High school: Westhampton beach

Graduation year: 2013

Position: Goalie

College choice: Marist College

Club affiliation: Team Westhampton

Major lacrosse honors: All County Sophomore Year, All Star at Top 205.

What will you major in/study? Buisness

Why did you choose Marist? “The campus was very nice and the students and coaches made me feel right at home. Academics were my main concern and they have a great academic program. The lacrosse program was and is a program I could see myself playing for.”

Outlook for your high school team? “We are very young at some positions but we have a bulk of our talent returning. We graduated only 8 seniors last year and a bunch of guys have stepped-up during the off-season.”

Additional comments: “I want to thank Coach(Drew)Peters and our Athletic Director for everything they have done over these past couple months in the recruiting process. Also, my Mom, family, and friends for supporting me and my decision.”
