Women’s recruit: Harborfields junior midfielder Turner commits to OSU

Harborfields junior midfielder Christina Turner has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Ohio State University.

Position: Midfield

College Choice: The Ohio State University

Club Affiliation: Yellow Jackets

Major lacrosse honors: All Division 2010, All County 2011, U15 National Championship team

Academic honors: National Honor Society, Honor Roll every quarter, Scholar Athlete Award for Soccer and Lacrosse all years.

What will you major in/study? International Business/ Fisher School of Business

Why did you choose OSU? “I chose Ohio State because it simply is awesome. I walked onto the campus and knew I wanted to go there. It has the total college experience, from the athletics to academics. All of the coaches are really nice and can make us a National Championship team!”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “We have been working really hard this year and want to make it to State Championships. We are getting better ever year and this year is the year we will make our big jump forward!”
