Men’s commitment: Manhasset senior All-American defender Duvnjak to play for Harvard

Manhasset senior defensemen Bobby Duvnjak has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Harvard University and begin the admissions process.

Position: Defense

College Choice: Harvard

Club Affiliation: Gotskillz and Long Island Express

Major lacrosse honors: 2-time All-American and 2-All-Long Island

Academic honors: Honor roll

What will you major in/study? Economics

Why did you choose Harvard? “I chose Harvard because it had the best balance of academics and lacrosse for me. It is one of the best schools in the country and also allows for me to play very competitive lacrosse.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? ” We return a lot of starters who will help add experience and leadership to our team this upcoming season. We also have some younger players who will need to step up and play a bigger role this year to help us achieve our goals.”

Additional comments: “I would like to thank my coaches from Manhasset Coach (Bill) Cherry and Coach (Mike) Christy for all of their help throughout the years. Also I would like to thank Coach Wojick and Coach Finlay.”
