St. Anthony’s senior attackman/midfielder Chris Hughes has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at St. John’s University.

College Choice: St. John’s University

Club Affiliation: Long Island Stampede

Major lacrosse honors: Top 205 and Blue Chip 225

Academic honors: Honor Roll

What will you major in/study? Law

Why did you choose St. John’s? “St. John’s is a great university and is the best fit for me and my family. The coaches are great and it is a program on the rise.”

Additional comments: “I hope to be a big help to the lacrosse team this year at St. Anthony’s.”
