Allen Winkoff log:

High School: Cold Spring Harbor

Graduation Year: 2013

Position: Midfield/face-off

College Choice: The Ohio State University

What will you major in/study?

Why did you choose OSU? “There were many factors in my decision to choose Ohio State. When I first set foot on campus I knew it was the place for me. Ohio State has a great academic support program, which made me feel very comfortable. I couldn’t ask more from Coaches (Nick) Myers, (Dave) Dobbins, and (Andrew) Baxter. They were great to me and my family. Another factor is the athletic facilities, it’s just another thing that was very impressive at Ohio State.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “I believe Cold Spring Harbor has a very solid team coming back next year, and think that we can make a strong run this year at the Class C NYS championship.”
