Why did you choose Stony Brook? “I always wanted to play lacrosse on a Division I team. After speaking with coach (Jim) Nagle I knew Stony Brook was the right place for me and to be able to play for my home town is a great honor and a privilege. Stony Brook University will provide an excellent education as well.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “My high school team will do very well this year. We are a strong team and have been playing together for a long time. We are all very confident that we will make it to County’s if not even states.”

Additional comments: “I would like to thank the Melville coaching staff, Mike Hoppey, Jay Negus and Kurt Ferraro for pushing me to become the player I am today. I would also like to thank my parents for taking the time to send me to camps and tournaments and a special thanks to my Dad for always pushing me and showing me how to take my game to the next level. If it wasn’t for him telling me to push it 110% every time and practicing with me I don’t know if I would have gotten as far as I am today.”
