Men’s commitment: Chaminade/Hotchkiss LSM defense Quinn chooses Yale

Long stick midfielder Michael Quinn, a 2011 Chaminade graduate who is a post-graduate at Hotchkiss School (Conn.), has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Yale and begin the admission process.

Graduation Year: 2012

Position: LSM/Defense

College Choice: Yale

Club Affiliation: Long Island Sting

Major lacrosse honors:  Long Stick Middie of The Year 2011, Under Armour Underclass Games Long Island, US Lacrosse All American Showcase, All League 2010.

Academic honors: National Honor Society, Honor Roll

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Yale? “I chose Yale because it has great academics, great lacrosse and the guys on the team are awesome.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “We are excited to get on the field and want to win the New England West/Founders League.”
