High School: Baldwin Senior High school

Major lacrosse honors: Unsung hero, All-conference for 2 years

What will you major in/study? Physical Education/ Health
Why did you choose Monmouth? “The first time I went for an unofficial visit, I knew Monmouth was the school for me. The beauty of the campus was amazing and the support of the administration, alumni, and students was incredible.
“As I continued to discover new things about Monmouth, I realized more and more this was the school for me. Also, Monmouth is a perfection location. Even though I’m away at school, my family is close enough to come watch my games and help support the team. Academically, they have the exact program I want to study.
“I’m most excited about the opportunity to play for Coach Denise Wescott. Her vast experience and knowledge of the game is extremely impressive. I am honored that Coach Wescott has given me the chance to become a hawk. I know that under her guidance I will be the best student athlete I can be.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “Although being in a conference competing against very tough teams such as Farmingdale and Massapequa, we are going to go out on the field every game and working our hardest no matter what. We are a very young team with hidden talents.
“Our zone defense is known by all schools in Conference A and has helped us greatly to become a semi-finalist in the playoffs the past 2 years.
“My goal for this year as a returning captain is to be able to help lead the team to the county championship game. After my last high school game, I hope to leave knowing I always gave it everything I had and to have a positive influence on all my younger team mates.”
